In the early 20^th century, a young man named Georges Lalo had a dream to move to Paris and start his own company. He made this dream a reality in 1920 when he rented a small space along the rue Richer and G. Lalo, a maker of luxury writing paper and envelopes, was born.

Lalo has always aimed to be the gold standard in written correspondence. To this day, the company continues to handmake its products in-house, maintaining its commitment to high quality and craftsmanship.
